Photography
From a young age, photography has captured my interest and I have learned to use it the medium as a storytelling device.
However, exploration for the sake of experimentation is an important release from structure. They may be out of focus, too dark, too light, or any other number of imperfections, but I don’t believe that makes for a bad image. It allows me to see the beauty in what we see every day. Not every alleyway, bookstore, and living room has studio lighting and it’s important that we see those spaces as they are.
The equipment used to capture each image varies throughout the gallery. I use film, DLSR, mirrorless, and pinhole cameras to capture these moments.
